Derby STW - SCADA PLC Mods - Spring 2008

.....Derby STW will receive an update to its SCADA PLC and Control Panel over the spring. With new updates to the existing annunciator and PLC modifications for new treatment plants, its sure to be an interesting season at Derby.

Health & Safety Project - Mobile Centrifuge PLC Mods - March 2008


.....After a series of events within one of our customer companies, we were asked to attend a meeting and trial modification to the Mobile Centrifuge unit and add some software to an existing PLC. It was mostly password protection on the control HMI to ensure critical alarms lock out the system until a high-level operator clears them.

Kenilworth Pump Auto-Resets - October-November 2007


.....Stirling are installing Pump Auto-Reset's, Tariff Management units and more efficient Pump Control in the Kenilworth area of the Midlands. This involves installing Rockwell PLC's for Pump Reset's, Pulsar Zenith Ultrasonics for Pump Control / Logging and other devices to monitor for flooding, leak detection etc.

Eltham Road-to-Mount Sorrell Comms Restored! October 2007

.....Stirling installed a brand new control panel and serial modem link to restore the Rotork Valve control at Mount Sorrell Drive. The Pumping Station at Eltham Road uses Mount Sorrell for Storm Water storage, and needs to control the emptying valve in order to let the Storm Water return to Eltham Road in dry conditions. The system had been manual for many years, Stirling automated the process and reduced call-outs significantly.
