.....Welcome to the IT Department. The department currently opperates on the internal systems mostly at current. But also provides free assistance via Microsoft TechNet services.

.....Stirling Technical Engineering Ltd. recently deployed Microsoft Virtual Server R2 in order to create a more energy efficient IT infrastructure. It is highly important that IT Manager's and Systems Engineer's look towards this method of deployment for future projects.

.....However we can forsee a decrease in Server supplier sales as this method (Free Download from Microsoft), gets deployed onto server's previously occupied by a single task and mostly un-utilised. Having successfully deployed MS VSR2 SP1, we can say it is very very easy to manage and deploying a new server is a breeze. Extra benefits include having other Operating Systems on these virtual servers, including Linux, Novell or any other O.S.
